About the events:

Lisa Gibson has been a driving force behind key events in Leeds within the healthcare sector as part of her role as Strategy and Development Manager for the Health Partnerships Team.
One of the key events she was responsible for was the conference Managing Digital Change in Health and Care (in partnership with the King’s Fund), which was held at The Met Hotel in Leeds in 2018. This conference offered a practical understanding of the factors that contribute to successful digital change by showcasing the experiences of different case study sites and Global Digital Exemplars that have already made significant progress.

Following this, Lisa worked with a national health organisation to develop the Sixth Annual North of England Health Inequalities Conference, planned to be held in Leeds in November 2019. Whilst ultimately the event did not go ahead because of the 2019 General Election, the two day conference would have brought senior civil servants, NHS organisations, public health experts, leading north-based academics and voluntary sector organisations to the city to consider key challenges for improving health in the North of England.
