The Tournament Gallery is one of the most impressive gallery displays on site giving you the opportunity to step far beyond any other reception or dinner experience.  Start your evening next to the combat arena where your guests can be treated to the display of knights in shining armour wielding two handed swords or pole-axes, whilst they enjoy sipping Champagne from the house of Laurent-Perrier and nibbling freshly made canapés created by their award winning in house chefs.

Electric violins, a string quartet, a jazz trio, a harpist or even authentic wandering minstrels can set the mood.

Guest will not be failed to be impressed from the moment they arrive and climb the steps up to the main entrance and the wow factor will continue inside, with its awe-inspiring Classical-Baroque style architecture. As one of the largest venues in Leeds, this stunning “municipal palace” can host dinners for up to 400 guests.

There are a number of options for a drinks reception including the brasserie and/or the Bottle Room located on the 4th floor or for a truly unique reception consider the Espresso Bar located under the Historic Victoria Gate stained glass ceiling.  The Espresso Bar alone can entertain a maximum of 150 delegates however for larger numbers permission can be sought from Victoria Quarter to also use the arcade which increased the capacity to 650.

With catering provided by Harvey Nichols there are a wide range of bespoke food and drink options available.

The awe inspiring space, now lovingly restored, reveals colourful Victorian tiles, marble columns and a beautiful parquet floor. A truly beautiful space perfect for canapes and drinks receptions.
