Experience business meetings with a difference this festive season
As the nights draw to a close early and the air develops a bitter cool pinch, we fall back on the festive season to bring us ambient light and cosy warmth, especially when many of us spend the majority of the daylight hours at work. Though, just because you’re at work doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on the festive celebrations in the day.
Leeds is home to an array of venues that can cater to conferences, business meetings, and work celebrations across the festive period. From hotels to museums and halls to independent venues, you will find a spot of Christmas sprinkled across the city’s conference venues.
Discover the Christmas Pod by DoubleTree
New to Leeds this festive season is a beautifully decorated Christmas Pod at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. Located in the Lock Terrace on the waterfront at Granary Wharf, the Christmas Pod can seat up to 8 people for a private dining experience like no other. Adorned with warm yellow lighting and Christmas accessories, the Pod is a unique destination to host a business meeting or meal this winter. Though not solely for business, the Pod can also be enjoyed by friends and family for festive celebrations.
Its menu is enough to tantalise your tastebuds and with the Lock menu and festive menu available, the options are endless. From roast turkey breast with sage and onion stuffing to spiced butternut squash with sea salt and thyme roasties, you can get a flavour of Christmas as you catch up with work colleagues or clients.
Available to book with a minimum spend of £200 Monday-Thursday, and £300 Friday-Sunday throughout December, the Christmas Pod will become a permanent feature in the New Year which is just as magical without the Christmas decorations.
While you’re there…
The DoubleTree by Hilton has 333 rooms for visitors and business people alike to stay overnight in the thriving capital of Yorkshire. Complete with newly refurbished conference rooms and its rooftop bar, the Sky Lounge, the DoubleTree by Hilton provides an all-round experience for business travellers to the city.
Visitors can rest assured that there are safety measures in place following the global pandemic, with each room professionally cleaned and sealed with a label on the door that breaks once a guest enters.
Beyond the venue
