DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds gets ready for business

The DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds hotel has had its business facilities transformed, as part of a drive to boost the productivity and wellbeing of users.

The hotel, operated by Valor Hospitality Europe, has seen its meeting and events spaces undergo extensive refurbishments.

Upgraded technology has been included in the revitalised meeting space, including wireless AV systems and adjustable lighting that encourages wellbeing.

In the meeting, conference and delegate breakout areas, new furniture, carpets, feature walls and artworks have been fitted, with the aim to inspire and engage.

As well as improving the meeting and events space, the hotel has also refreshed its business food and drinks offering, answering a demand for flexibility whilst creating a menu designed to surprise guests, stimulate the mind and create an experience that’s truly memorable.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds benefits from a central location, just a stone’s throw from the city’s main train station, where guests and visitors can enjoy a tranquil canal-side setting and on-site casual dining restaurant, The Lock.

The transformed facilities are expected to be ready for business on 10th September.

Martin Vann, general manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds said: “The wellbeing and experience our guests receive is hugely important to us and this extends to our business offering. Many sectors are becoming increasingly aware of the effect our surroundings can have on our physical and mental health, which is why we invested in making these improvements to our meeting and events facilities.

“As part of the refurbishment, we’ve looked not only at functionality, but style, comfort and design too. Matching this with our new food and drinks menu, we’re able to offer an experience that inspires and suits the needs of the modern business, whatever its shape and size.”
