Leeds welcomes the first International Conference on Concrete Repair, Concrete Technology and Durability after three year hiatus

Conference Leeds, the conferencing bureau for the city of Leeds, is celebrating being chosen as the host destination of The 8th International Conference on Concrete Repair, Concrete Technology and Durability which arrives in the city at the Hilton Leeds City Hotel, from the 11th – 13th of July.

This is the Concrete Solutions’ first in person event since the Covid-19 pandemic, therefore garnering much excitement from its attendees. The conference will provide a forum for those working in cement and concrete repair, practice and technology and give its 70 specialist delegates the opportunity to network, transfer knowledge, updates and share research opportunities with others in their field.

The conference will also include appearances from keynote speakers, including Professor Dr Rob Polder of RPCP Consultants, Formerly of Delft University. It will include plenary sessions, workshops and presentations of abstracts by authors and experts, in collaboration with the University of Leeds and Professor Muhammed Basheer, the President of the Institute of Concrete Technology.

After the conference, delegates will enjoy a display of renowned gallery interpretations and a conference dinner at Leeds’ famous Royal Armouries Museum, sister museum to the Tower of London, which displays the UK’s largest collection of arms and armour.
