Leed(s)ing the way: The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum

Conference Leeds, the conferencing bureau for the city of Leeds, is celebrating the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) which arrives in the city at The Royal Armouries between 17 – 19 May 2022.

The conference, which will be an annual event, aims to drive economic growth and connect the public sector, developers, investors and end-users together – helping to forge relationships that generate inward investment, support regeneration and drive inclusive economic growth. UKREiiF will allow delegates to form relationships that will be game changing for the UK, with a huge focus on creating a welcoming, inclusive and diverse event.

The event will welcome senior national political figures as well as over 3,000 real estate and infrastructure leaders from across the United Kingdom, and the rest of the world. Attendees will be able participate in person or virtually, with UKREiiF taking the form of a fully hybrid event.

Making use of The Royal Armouries event facilities, including New Dock Hall, Royal Armouries Hall and the purpose built Bury Theatre, delegates will have the opportunity to network with others in their field. They will also be able to live like a local with meditation, yoga sessions and open water swimming in Leeds Dock and take part in talks on The Future of Real Estate, Building Back Better and Regeneration as well as investment tours, dinners and drinks receptions.

On the inaugural conference Keith Griffiths, founder and UKREiiF driving force, said: “I am delighted that we will be hosting the inaugural UKREiiF in Leeds. Leeds is a city close to my heart – it is where I chose to headquarter my business, Built Environment Networking, and where I have made my home.

“UKREiiF is designed to be a UK-wide forum to connect the public sector with developers and funders, and as one of the UK’s great cities, hosting the inaugural UKREiiF conference in Leeds felt like a no-brainer.”

Head of Conference Leeds, Claire Heap commented: “After a year-long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are delighted to see the return of in-person events. We look forward to hosting UKREiiF and welcoming their delegates to the city, especially at a time when the city is enjoying significant investments such as the announcement of the UK’s first Infrastructure Bank and the movement of BBC and the Bank of England jobs to the city. This is an incredibly exciting time to visit Leeds to make connections and see what our city has to offer.”
