National Apprenticeship show signs with Yorkshire Event Centre

The Yorkshire Event Centre (YEC) and NAS Media have signed a contract for a new ‘National Apprenticeship Show, Yorkshire and the North East’.

Following the success of their launch shows earlier this year, NAS Media will be holding their event in the new £11m Hall 1 at the YEC. ‘The National Apprenticeship Show Yorkshire and the North East’ will be taking place on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th March 2017.

“The National Apprenticeship Show will offer a great opportunity to the young people entering the workplace,” said Simon Bennie, Show Director. “This new and important event will offer a wide variety of opportunities to young people and employers from all over Yorkshire and the North East. The YEC provides a central location with great access and the spectacular new space that Hall 1 provides.”

Hall 1 has a floor space of 4,320m2, making it the largest clear span event space, in the North East. Set on the outskirts of Harrogate, it is within easy distance of Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Hull and Newcastle, making it easily accessible for potential apprentices and their families to find out more about what the future could hold for them at the show.

Heather Parry, YEC’s Managing Director, commented “We’re delighted to be hosting such an important new show; which will bring forward-thinking businesses and motivated young people together in a positive environment. The importance of apprentices in the workplace is key to all our futures and we wish this new event all the success in the world.”
