Leeds’ story is woven right through this hotel and you’ll hear all about it in a bold-as-brass, slightly cheeky, Yorkshire twang. You’ll find references to the cities industrial past, when local looms were the booming epicentre of all things wool and worsted, and local printworks were global production powerhouses. Yorkshire’s iconic characters are featured too, as etchings on out wet-room glass panes. There’s a wicket taker in his whites, and head-rocking festival goers dancing in the mud. They’re always getting caught in the showers without an umberella, but cheerful nonetheless.
