With multi 4K camera set up, in-ear and on-screen cues, control room and professional sound and lighting equipment onsite, capitalised by the expertise of Horizon’s Event Planners, clients can now deliver a fully branded digital event in confidence in its award-winning venue.

Horizon Leeds has teamed up with audio visual experts FireFly Audio Visual Solutions Ltd to transform part of the COVID-secure venue into a state-of-the-art streaming studio. With the ability to accommodate speakers both onsite and around the globe with seamless transitions from speaker to studio, panel to presentation, the new set-up will connect professionals worldwide in a stress-free environment as the team’s dedicated on-site camera crew and technical team fulfil the brief.

Multiple platform compatibility allows streaming from a wide range of video conferencing platforms that both clients and delegates are confident in using whether it be MS Teams, Zoom or Google Hangouts to something a little more bespoke.

Fully compliant with government guidance and accredited under AIM Secure and the Good to Go industry standard, Horizon Leeds has everything in place to ensure clients have a safe environment to deliver virtual or hybrid events.

As a venue, we’ve always strived to have incredible technology onsite, and this is the next logical step for us with the current restrictions in place. It’s been a difficult time for the whole events industry, and not being able to host large events and conferences has been a real challenge. The team at NHS Confederation have had to think outside the box on how to bridge the gap to assist our clients as they transition into the virtual events world. We’re aware that there’s added pressures when moving from the familiarity of live events to virtual ones, especially with so many variables at play including WiFi strength, technical wizardry and navigating around different platforms. With the Virtual and Hybrid Streaming Studio, clients can choose to bring presenters together onsite in our COVID-secure studio or have a mix of remote and live presenters and panellists.
