Conference Leeds search for Industry Champions across the city

We all know that the conference and events industry has been massively impacted by the coronavirus pandemic but despite the huge amounts of uncertainty the coronavirus has caused, Conference Leeds has seen how our industry across the city has adapted, shown great resilience and dedication despite the pressure.

Consequently we want to recognise the achievements of colleagues across the city who have gone the extra mile during these difficult times. Conference Leeds is inviting people across the city to nominate a champion (this could be an individual or a team) from their venue or organisation, to acknowledge and thank for the efforts and hard work of those people who have been able to work throughout the pandemic.

Some of the reasons as to why a person or team may deserve a nomination can include, but is not limited to:

Adapting from their day-to-day roles to support other areas of the business (or even another venue)
Providing support to colleagues
Helping your venue to adapt to provide essential services during the pandemic
Supporting charitable organisations with donations or other activities
Offering up resources to the less fortunate throughout the pandemic
Or, for any other reason you think they are deserving!

Nominations will close at 5pm on Friday 26^th February 2021.

All of our Champions will be showcased in March 2021, with each one receiving a profile on the Conference Leeds website. A press release will also be issued to local and industry press shortly after, to further highlight their achievements.
