thestudio Serves Up National Support for Foodinate

Giving the rest of us food for thought as we head into the season of giving, thestudio has announced its national partnership with social enterprise, Foodinate. The team of event and venue experts has put its money where its mouth is, introducing ‘Foodinate Fancy Cakes’ to its menus across the country.

These sweet treats will be offered to every client that makes a booking with thestudio, and in turn will support Foodinate in providing a nourishing meal to a local person in need with every cake sold.

The partnership was confirmed at last week’s seasonal menu tasting, hosted by thestudiomanchester. As well as offering those in attendance the chance to try, discuss, and feedback on thestudio’s upcoming winter menu, the event also introduced Caroline Stevenson, the founder of Foodinate, to its guests.

Caroline spoke about the initiative and the life-changing impact Foodinate has already had across the UK, thanks to its generous partners: since launching in 2015, the social enterprise has provided almost 9,000 meals to people in need across the country.

Speaking about the collaboration and why it is so important to thestudio, Commercial Director Julian Kettleborough said:

“When we were approached by Foodinate about partnering, it was a no-brainer for us. Food is firmly at the centre of thestudio’s ethos and customer experience, so our team is always working hard to ensure that every meal is up to the highest standard. As a result, we’ve been thinking about how we can spread this love of food far and wide: we’re hoping that our partnership with Foodinate means that this helps achieve this, reaching even further afield, while giving our delegates yet another tasty option. We hope our customers rally behind the initiative and together we can show that giving never tasted so good!”

As its pledge, thestudio is asking customers to grab a slice of the feel-good, offering a selection of delicious gluten free treats: for just £1.60, customers can tuck into their choice of carrot and orange, double chocolate, sticky toffee, or lemon meringue mini cakes. These bitesize pick-me-ups deliver a big impact, as with each one purchased, thestudio funds a hot meal for the Foodinate team to distribute, making that extra indulgence completely guilt-free!

Caroline and the Foodinate team are thrilled to welcome thestudio on board. Commenting on the collaboration, Caroline said:

“We can’t thank thestudio enough for supporting us. As a prominent figure in the events and catering industry, we hope that thestudio will be a pioneer, challenging other businesses to follow its lead. I hope this is the start of a fruitful, long-lasting relationship, changing the lives of those in need, one meal at a time.”
