Dating back as far as 1086 where it was first mentioned in the Domesday Book, Hazlewood Castle offers a really unique venue for any conference, awards night or meeting, with 77 acres of stunning woodland and manicured gardens to explore, ample parking is available and the Castle couldn’t be easier to get to, being just off the A64, between Leeds & York. With onsite activities and team building at Live for Today Adventures, delegates can participate in axe throwing, crossbows, quad biking and more whilst building that all important team spirit or maybe just a woodland awards ceremony and festival style after party is on the cards. Conferencing for up to 160 delegates is available in the main Castle in the Great Hall and elegant break out room the State Drawing and Old Dining Rooms, with function bar perfectly place for the ease of flow through. 32 individually styled rooms & suites are perfect to accommodate residential conferences.

Lone Traveller policy
The entrance to the hotel and court yard are well lit for guests arriving late
The reception team stand and welcome all guests in to the hotel
They take the guest’s name to find their booking, not announcing if they are travelling on
their own
When issuing the key the key is shown to the guest but the room number isn’t announced
and the guest is directed to the room verbally
All guests are offered luggage assistance and/or to be taken to their room
Women travellers are not allocated rooms on the ground floor or in our annex room unless
they have requested it. The hotel has a door entry system so only guests of the hotel can enter via a buzzer in to the
