National Coal Mining Museum for England

The National Coal Mining Museum for England is truly a conference venue with a difference. Nestling in the hills of West Yorkshire, this unique rural site offers excellent facilities for daytime and evening events. The museums conference facilities; in light airy air-conditioned rooms, have been designed to offer maximum flexibility. The Caphouse suite has a capacity of up to 200 theatre style or the room can be divided in to three. Each room is named after local pits offer the very latest in high-tech visual presentational aids, multiple external data and power points as well as standard conference equipment. Excellent catering facilities can provide anything from a light finger buffet to a five course meal and has a fully licensed bar. This historic colliery site makes an excellent location for all types of conferences, seminars, product launches, presentations, corporate adventure days, indoor and outdoor promotions, evening functions and private parties. Underground tours can be incorporated into the day.
